Personal Trainer
Dries Benoit
I graduated as a Master in Physical Education and Movement Sciences (Cum Laude) in 2018.
During my studies, I did an internship at the University Fitness where I had Redert as a mentor. Sparked by his enthusiasm and knowledge that he contagiously passed on to me, I was bitten to make this my profession.
Putting the human body in motion is a passion that I have carried with me since the beginning of my sports career. Seeing and addressing a person as a whole is what makes me want to keep learning. This involves different aspects, each with their thresholds and solutions. Combining both the physical, mental and nutritional aspects is the challenge. This is how we work with each client individually towards the best version of yourself.
After 17 years of volleyball, I opted for a new challenge and can mostly be found on my racing bike. As a result, I recently took a Bikefitting course (Wolf Performance - 2023) to train and coach cyclists even more specifically for our beloved sport. Based on my schooling, I always use all the tools I know as scientifically as possible (lactate tests, measurable progression, FTP) in order to train & coach each client as optimally and completely as possible.
Besides sports, I love fiction books and films, sushi and chocolate.
